In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of learning in the Senior School. This translates into active fostering and monitoring of staff and student talents in the development, delivery and ongoing evolution of the School's learning programs.
Providing high quality, consistent outcomes in student learning and wellbeing is at the heart of the role. You will be guided by the wellbeing policies operating in the School to create a dynamic environment.
As a member of the School Executive, you will also have a 0.2 Teaching Load.
Your years of experience in a similar role have given you outstanding knowledge of VCE, International Student regulations, curriculum development, assessment, reporting, pastoral care and co-curricular programs.
In your support of day to day operations, you will liaise at all levels across the school, so it's important you take pride in your stakeholder management ability and enjoy working collaboratively.
To be successful you will bring:
- A minimum of 3 years senior management experience in an educational setting
- Relevant teaching qualifications and registration
- Experience in giving clear direction and support of staff when managing student behaviour
- Initiative and a commitment to continuous development
- A strong working knowledge of all relevant compliance and legislations
Experience with management of students using the principles of Restorative Justice is preferred, however training is available for the successful candidate.
